Roles & Responsibilities
The client is a global leader in semiconductor capital equipment, providing critical subsystems and components that drive innovation in the semiconductor industry. Below position is open urgently.
Location: Woodlands
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Hours: Shift work assigned
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform product functional, system, endurance, and leak tests; identify errors and carry out necessary rework.
- Diagnose module-level and system-level issues, support corrective actions, and ensure timely resolution.
- Report and assist engineers in troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and line issue investigations.
- Collaborate closely with Manufacturing Engineering and QA to address quality concerns and support technical improvements.
- Conduct troubleshooting to ensure product readiness and support customer shipment requirements.
- Analyse production abnormalities, elevate unresolved issues promptly, and propose corrective measures.
- Initiate ideas and participate actively in continuous improvement programs to enhance productivity, quality, and safety.
- Provide accurate and complete shift pass‑down communication to maintain smooth operations.
- Train and guide new operators/technicians under the Buddy System; act as Master Trainer when required.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and adhere to cleanroom protocol, EHS guidelines, and manufacturing discipline.
- Highlight any problems or abnormalities on the production floor and take immediate containment actions.
- Report errors in Operating Method Sheets (OMS) and support updates or improvements.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties or tasks assigned by the superior.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or engineering industries.
- Able to read and comprehend electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Basic computer literacy for documentation, data entry, and system updates.
- Hands‑on experience in equipment assembly, testing, or manufacturing processes.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Able to follow SOPs, safety guidelines, and quality standards consistently.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts and overtime when required.
