The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling complex electro‑mechanical systems according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and company standards. The role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work with tools and components in a cleanroom or lab environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble mechanical, electrical, and optical components into complete systems or sub‑systems
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions
  • Perform wiring, soldering, and mechanical fastening
  • Use hand tools, measurement devices, and assembly fixtures safely and effectively
  • Meet daily production targets
  • Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform minor repairs
  • Monitor production process, identify and report any quality deviations or malfunctions immediately.
  • Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet specifications
  • Work closely with Engineering and Production teams to resolve issues and implement improvements
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area
  • Follow safety protocols and quality standards
Requirements
  • Technical diploma or equivalent experience (IPC, OSHA, SMTA cert preferred)
  • 2+ years in electro‑mechanical assembly or related field
  • Experience with tools, soldering, and mechanical assembly
  • Ability to read technical documentation in English
  • High attention to detail and manual dexterity
  • Able to see/identify small components on close‑up, clearly
