A leading electronics company is seeking a regional business director to drive strategy and manage B2B operations across Asia. The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in B2B business management, exceptional leadership skills, and a strong ability to work in diverse markets. Responsibilities include developing region-specific strategies, leading cross-functional teams, and fostering relationships with enterprise management. This role offers considerable growth opportunities and demands a willingness to travel extensively.
The Asia Eco Solution regional business director will be responsible for leading and developing regional strategy and overseeing Asia ES business to drive market share growth and maximize revenue and profit. This role demands an expertise of business management with a deep understanding of B2B business, exceptional leadership abilities, and a proven track record of managing cross cultural teams. The director will collaborate closely with global teams to ensure alignment with the company’s strategy while tailoring it to resonate with local markets.
1. Regional business strategy
Design and implement region specific business strategy that align with global business direction but cater to the unique needs of each market within Asia region regarding channel, product, marketing, organization strategy. Develop integrated business plan to ensure market penetration and growth.
2. Market Research & Insights:
Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer market needs across Asia market. Utilize market insights to refine regional and country strategies for target vertical segments.
3. Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Lead and mentor teams from regional and 11 subsidiaries related with Eco Solution across different markets, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Work closely with the Regional sales, local sales and PDs to align strategies and achieve business goals.
4. Business management & Financial accountability
Manage sales performance and overall operations of 11 subsidiaries’ Eco Solution business (P&L, Pipeline, channel management, marketing and promotion investment). Manage the regional marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for maximum impact. Track and report on budget utilization, providing financial insights to senior leadership.
5. Business development
As senior leader and representative of Asia Eco Solution business in regional headquarters, engage and develop relationship with enterprise management level. Through the activity develop regional projects or potential business opportunities.
6. B2B infrastructure & new business model builder
Develop and build B2B infrastructure and new business model to enhance quality growth of the business aligned with HQ and regional CEO.
Bachelor’s degree preferably in business, economics, engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum 15 years of experience in B2B(Air Conditioning, CAC, HVAC, Chiller) business management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven experience in driving business in diverse markets, particularly in the APAC region.
Experience working in the electronic industry is highly desirable.
Strong strategic and analytical thinking abilities, with a deep understanding of the Asian market dynamics.
Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and drive teams towards shared goals.
Superior communication and presentation skills.
Ability to navigate complex, matrixed organizational structures and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Culturally sensitive with a passion for the Asian markets and a deep appreciation for cultural nuances.
Results-oriented, proactive, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
Strong adaptability, resilience, and willingness to travel extensively within the region as required.
