Job summary

An architectural consultancy firm in Singapore is looking for an experienced Architectural Resident Technical Officer (RTO) to supervise architectural and interior design works. Candidates should have at least 5 years of relevant experience and be registered as an Accredited Resident Technical Officer. This position offers a competitive salary range of $5,000 to $6,000 and a contract period from September 2025 to March 2026, with an option to extend.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in local projects involving supervision of architectural works.
  • Registered with IEC / ACES as Accredited Resident Technical Officer.
  • Good knowledge of quality standards and contractual requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and ensure contractors proceed to the next stage of construction.
  • Monitor progress of architectural works and report problems or delays.
  • Maintain records of inspections and defect rectification progress.

ARCHITECTURAL RESIDENT TECHNICAL OFFICER (RTO)
  • Possess at least 5 years of experience in local projects involving supervision of architectural works for Commercial projects, Hotel projects, Conservation projects as well as A&A refurbishment projects.
  • Diploma in relevant field
  • Registered with IEC / ACES as Accredited Resident Technical Officer
  • Must be a Singaporean / PR
  • Essential to have good knowledge and experience in carrying out site supervision and inspecting Architectural and Interior Design works to ensure works are of quality standards in accordance with contractual requirements and authority standards
  • Essential to have good knowledge and experience in inspecting defects and rectification works
  • Good team player who is able to oversee and ensure contractor proceeds to the next stage of construction in accordance with design, specifications and approved drawings/ method statements
  • Monitor progress of architectural works on site and report problems/ delays if any
  • Maintain and update record of inspections and defect rectification progress, and ensure contractor completes defects rectification works to the satisfaction of the client/ architect
  • Location of site: 2 Cavan Road
  • Contract period: September 2025 to March 2026 with option to extend
  • Salary: $5,000 to $6,000
