Job description
  • Role: Architectural Drawing Manager
  • Industry: A1 Main Contractor
  • HQ at: Changi Business Park [ Expo MRT ]
  • Schedule: Mon to Fri, from 8.30am to 5.15pm
  • Salary: $5,000 - $8,000 + Variable Bonus [ No AWS ]
REQUIREMENTS
  1. Recognized Degree in Architecture/ Engineering/ Construction or equivalent
  2. Min 10 Years of experience in drawing coordination and management in the Singapore Construction Industry
  3. Well versed in AutoCAD, Revit / BIM Software in Architectural/ Structural/ MEP.
  4. Good understanding of the Singapore Construction Industry regulations (eg. Building code, BCA, URA and LTA)
  5. Experience in leading a team of coordinators and drafters in Shop drawing production, coordination, and document control.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Involve and lead in checking and coordination of Shop drawings and as-built drawings with all respective trades (e.g., Architectural, Structural, MEP and Specialist Subcontractors works)
  • Review project specifications, Shop drawings and technical clarifications
  • Able to prepare and monitor the progress of Shop drawings and Sample schedule with procurement schedule.
  • Manage submission and approvals of Shop drawings and Samples from Consultants.
  • Manage receipt and issuance of all Consultant drawings and Shop drawings
  • Liaise and coordinate with Consultants, Authorities and Subcontractors on design issues.
  • Assist the Project team on technical and coordination issues with Subcontractors.
  • Attend and chair design technical meetings with Consultants and Subcontractors
  • Assist the Project contracts department in variation order claims related to design changes.
