Job summary

A prominent architectural firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Architectural Coordinator to assist in design coordination. Responsibilities include managing architectural schedules, supervising work by sub-contractors, and ensuring compliance with local codes and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Architecture or a related field and 3-7 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in software like AutoCAD and Revit, along with strong leadership and communication skills, is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Min 3-7 years relevant main contractor experience in Design & Build building projects.
  • Good knowledge of architectural specifications and requirements.
  • Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Assist the Architect in coordinating design details between clients, consultants, and contractors to align architectural designs with project requirements, regulations, and safety standards
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop architectural designs, schedules, and construction plans
  • Manage architectural work scheduling, supervise and inspect all architectural work performed by sub-contractors according to specifications / drawings
  • Review project specifications, tender clarifications, and construction drawings to assist in contract and procurement management
  • Ensure that stakeholders are actively engaged and that beneficial relationships between the project and the client, subcontractors, community, and other external parties are developed and maintained
  • Support the Project Manager in all coordination work of civil, structural, architectural and NSC/Direct Contract works
  • Study drawings and coordinate architectural works with the consultants and sub-contractors to resolve any technical / site issues
  • Inform Project Director / Project Manager on any technical / site problems pertaining to architectural works
  • Prepare and coordinate on Green mark, quality management and CONQUAS assessment
Requirements
  • Degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related field
  • Min 3-7 years relevant main contractor experience in Design & Build building project
  • Good knowledge of architectural specifications, Architectural & MEP coordination works and requirements
  • Possess strong leadership
  • Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, and other relevant architectural software is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
