Job summary

A leading financial institution is seeking a professional to manage environmental and social risks across its operations in Asia Pacific. This role involves advising on risk strategy, conducting assessments, and supporting engagement with stakeholders. Candidates with 6-10+ years of experience in ESG/sustainability and strong communication skills are encouraged to apply. The position is primarily office-based in Singapore with opportunities across APAC.

Qualifications

  • 6-10+ years of relevant professional experience in ESG/sustainability, environmental sustainability, climate, human rights or similar field.
  • Knowledge of environmental and social/human rights topics.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a global, matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with business and risk partners on environmental and social risks.
  • Support engagements with external stakeholders on environmental issues.
  • Provide project management support for sustainability initiatives.
  • Advise on environmental and social risk policies.
  • Track regional regulatory developments.
  • Assist with responding to regulatory inquiries.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Ability to analyze and assess risks
Banking and financial services expertise

Education

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
