Job Description

• Provide connectivity and solutioning support to institutional clients trading into regional cash equities markets.
• Generate new institutional business through active prospecting and liaising with industry partners.
• Provide DMA supervision, trading and operational support to institutional clients.
• Deliver daily client servicing, risk and client exposure monitoring.
• Vendor liaison, outage management and trade reconciliation support.
• Collaborate with internal support units to resolve client queries or develop new product/service offerings.
• Work closely with technology, finance, middle office and back office operations to eliminate post trade issues.
• Coordinate with client services, legal and compliance departments for client onboarding, KYC procedures and other ad-hoc tasks.
• Prepare internal reports to facilitate strategic business planning.
• Perform and assist with UAT sessions for any client system or trading system changes.
• Reconcile monthly costs and prepare invoices to clients.
• Coordinate closely with internal departments to fulfill client requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree or higher.
• CMFAS certificates (M1A, M5, M6, M6A), or exempted from respective CMFAS exams is a plus.
• A strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
• Fast learner, possessing the willingness to learn and a can do attitude.
• Meticulous and good with numbers.
• Comfortable with change, ambiguity, debate, conflict and informed risk taking.
• Multi-tasker who can manage multiple streams of work concurrently.
• Strong team player with entrepreneurial instincts.
• Able to work on Singapore public holidays as other markets are trading.
• Able to work on Saturday (occasionally) to support exchange testing.

Additional Skills and Experience

• Understanding of the trading ecosystem lifecycle.
• Familiarity of various cash equities market's microstructure.
• Basic understanding of algo trading logic.
• Hands-on exposure to regional cash equities markets.

• Experience with trading platforms and sales trading coverage is a plus.
