Overview

Business Function

Group Operations enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group Operations, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Responsibilities

  • Check and ensure that all corporate action events (mandatory / mandatory with choices / voluntary) are processed correctly and promptly.
  • Ensure prompt notification to clients on voluntary corporate action events such as rights issue, dividend with options, tender offers, Singapore Reits, etc.
  • Ensure that clients’ entitlements are protected.
  • Check that clients’ instructions are executed accordingly.
  • Assist in investigating and resolving discrepancies or issues related to corporate action events.
  • Maintain high standard of service quality by providing timely response to clients’ enquiries.
  • Support the team in daily operational tasks as needed.
  • Adhere to all internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in financial services operations, preferably with some exposure to corporate actions and knowledge of SWIFT – MT56X series
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Good team player, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • A strong desire to learn and grow within the corporate actions domain.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to read/write macros
