Business Function

Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels

Responsibilities

Support & contribute towards the smooth operations of the IBG T&O SG Cash Ops remittance function, whilst ensuring adherence to established standards and controls

• Investigate and resolve customers' remittances queries in accordance with the established service level agreement and payment guidelines
• Work closely with business/service units, agent/correspondent banks to resolve remittance queries
• Process failed remittances in accordance to procedures without compromising quality during the process
• Adhere to agreed high service levels for turnaround time and industry /currency cut-off times
• Ensure proficiency over established Standard Operating Procedures and compliance against all relevant policies, standards and guidelines
• Timely reporting and escalation of risk events/incidents, control issues, suspicious transactions and presidential complaint for appropriate action
• Contribute constructively toward improvement initiatives & projects in relation to risk management , process improvement, cost reduction etc.
• Required to work on weekends to provide support for adhoc live verification tests
• Ad-hoc duties assign by Team Manager

• Possess high computer literacy skill to adapt to the various systems used in Cash operations
