Job description

Role Description

This is a full-time position located on site in Singapore for an Analyst/Associate covering Legal, Deals & Transactions. It will be a good opportunity for a legally trained candidate to try to step into the commercial side of transactions. It is open to other candidates who are interested in general investment banking work with exposure to legal documentation.

They will be responsible for day-to-day tasks, including all deal related matters including deal documentation, research, dealing with all legal matters, preparing marketing materials, working on deal/transaction management and executing transactions. You will work closely with other team members on legal analyses, due diligence activities, and the creation of transaction materials. Being exposed to every aspect of a deal/transaction cycle, the candidate will be involved in the deal sourcing process, evaluation of such opportunities, arranging and structuring of such transactions, and see to the completion and documentation.

  • Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and timelines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional and international teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance or related field. A higher degree or relevant qualification is a plus
