Job summary

Working Hours: Mon to Fri 8.00am-5.30pm

Salary: $2500-$3000

Component Repair

Job Description:

  • Perform repair processes such as plasma spray, water jet, shot peening, heat treatment, cleaning, masking, blasting, sheetmetal etc
  • Meet repair production schedule and delivery requirements
  • Participate in cost control initiatives and continuous improvement projects/events
  • Any other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • NITEC or equivalent, preferably with experiences in the component overhaul/repair industry
  • Knowledge and skills in any repair process, e.g. plasma spray, water jet, shot-peening, heat treatment etc
  • Able to perform rotating shift work, and support overtime, if required
Assembly

Purpose of the Job

Assembly, Inspection and Disassembly of Gas Turbine Engines and Components
Rigging and Testing of Gas Turbine Engines

Key Job Accountabilities
  1. Strip, build, inspect, assemble and test gas turbine engines
  2. Perform work at cell level to meet production schedule and cost control for engines jobs
  3. Perform Engine Rigging and De-rigging, Engine Functional and Performance Testing, Troubleshooting
  4. Handle and maintain facilities, test cells and equipment, setup & tooling design/ modification
  5. Participate in process improvement and drive productivity
Reporting Relationships

This position reports to Production Manager, Military Operations

Required Experience and Qualifications
  1. Minimum NITEC in engineering discipline. Mechanical & Aerospace disciplines will be preferred
  2. Past MRO or Aviation experience would be an advantage
  3. Past experience with Engine Testing would be an advantage
  4. Possess good communication skills
  5. Energetic and willing to learn
  6. Team player but also independent worker
  7. Leadership skills is a plus
