Job Description

AI Singapore (AISG) is a national AI programme launched by the National Research Foundation (NRF) to anchor deep national capabilities in Artificial Intelligence (AI).

The programme office is hosted by the National University of Singapore (NUS) and brings together all Singapore-based research institutions and the vibrant ecosystem of AI start-ups and companies developing AI products to perform use-inspired research, grow the knowledge, create the tools, and develop the talent to power Singapore's AI efforts.

We are looking for an AI practitioner with demonstrated pedagogical expertise to lead the development of institutional knowledge and technical assets of 2 youth talent development programs:

  • National Olympiad in AI - to support identification and preparation of youth talents to compete and excel in international competitions.
  • Introductory AI Research Course - to support talent pipelining of high ability learners in Singapore education ecosystem.

This person will form and oversee a distributed team of subject matter experts to ensure program assets are developed with sound pedagogical principles; and establish processes for continuous improvements.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Co-own the programs' roadmap and lifecycle with the Technical Program Manager and ensure measurable improvements in outcomes run-over-run.
  • Own and maintain "build systems" for program assets, including instructional materials, content repositories, question bank database/structure, knowledge base and release notes.
  • Put in place operational governance, including metrics, versioning, review gates, QA checklists, and post-run retrospectives.
  • Create reusable templates and authoring standards to improve speed and consistency across program assets
  • Recruit, coordinate, and manage a distributed team of subject matter experts, including onboarding, content standards, sprint planning, editorial workflow, assignments, release readiness, and refresh cycles.
  • Plan and lead the annual National Olympiad in AI (NOAI) competition, ensuring fairness, academic integrity, and appropriate challenge level NOAI.
  • Support the Singapore co-country coordinator for International Olympiad in AI in national selection trials.
  • Support Technical Program Manager on program outreach and training.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Professional qualification in DDDLP, ACLP or equivalent is strongly preferred and will be prioritized for shortlisting.
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency in AI/ML/DS and able to produce and validate correct, high-quality technical learning assets (e.g., explanations, labs, assessments, solutions).
  • Proven experience in developing and maintaining learning content at scale (courseware, labs, assessments, question banks), including refresh cycles and quality assurance.
  • Proven experience in project execution involving translating evolving objectives into clear deliverables, timelines, and quality gates; managing dependencies and driving completion.
  • Comfortable with modern content production workflows and tooling, including Git/version control, structured authoring templates, and basic data tooling/analytics to track content and learner/item performance.
  • Experience in leading mixed contributor teams of academic and non-academic stakeholders is an advantage.
