Job summary

A leading aerospace engineering company in Singapore seeks an Engineering professional to manage development projects, ensuring timely implementation and cost efficiency. The ideal candidate should have an engineering degree in Aerospace, along with 3 to 5 years of experience in the aerospace industry. Responsibilities include designing tools for new capabilities and serving as a technical focal point for new developments. Knowledge of electronic systems and proficiency in Office software are essential for this role.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience related to aerospace industry.
  • Occasional travel for the purpose of training/work-related objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Implement development projects on time and within budget.
  • Design and document tools for new capabilities.
  • Identify cost reduction solutions.
  • Be the main technical focal point for technological developments.
  • Manage sourcing and tooling for shop development.
  • Follow lean methods for process optimization.
  • Support production team during transitions.

Skills

Good understanding in electronic, avionic and electromechanical
Knowledge of aviation industry (OEM, regulation, maintenance protocols)
Practical experience with mechanical and electrical instruments
Good understanding of technical documents
Proficiency in Office software (Word, Excel)
Experience with ERP (M3, SAP)

Education

Engineering degree in Aerospace or equivalent
