Job summary

A professional accounting firm in Singapore is seeking a Bookkeeping Assistant. The role involves managing clients' accounts, preparing year-end filings, and assisting with tax computations. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in accounting, at least 2 years of relevant experience, and bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin. Qualifications

  • Assist with ACRA filings.

  • Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Responsibilities
  1. Assist in bookkeeping transactions for partial or full sets of clients’ accounts.
  2. Prepare management accounts and director statements for year‑end filing.
  3. Assist in quarterly GST returns.
  4. Assist in tax computations and Form C/CS for company income tax.
  5. Assist with other filings, e.g., IR21, IR8A, GST registration.
  6. Assist with ACRA filings.
  7. Physically file and e‑file documents.
  8. Perform any other duties as required.
Requirements
  • Minimum qualification: LCCI/Diploma in Accounting or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word & Excel).
  • Strong sense of responsibility, maturity, self‑initiative, proactivity, attention to detail, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with clients of different language backgrounds.
