Overview

We are seeking Sessional Lecturers with a track record of effective teaching and experience in postgraduate courses for our upcoming master's program in construction management. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, teaching and/or Course Co-ordinating in one or more of the following courses:

  • Construction Project Planning
  • Construction Business Strategy and Finance
  • Project Management Principles
  • Advanced Contract Administration
  • Advanced Construction Procurement and Tendering
  • Negotiation and Conflict Resolution
  • Leadership in Contemporary Organisations
  • Performance and Sustainability of the Built Environment
  • Advanced Construction Technology
  • Building Design Management
  • Volumetric and Modular Construction
  • Work Integrated Learning Building Information Modelling
  • Applied Artificial Intelligence
  • Data Wrangling and Visualisation
Selection Criteria
  • PhD or master’s degree (with at least 10 years relevant experience) in a Construction-related area
  • Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) or Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance 2.0 (ACLP 2.0)
  • Course-relevant experience
  • Evidence of lecturing skills and a commitment to the delivery of high-quality teaching
  • Ability to work cooperatively with academic and professional staff
  • Willingness to contribute effectively as a member of a cohesive team
