Job summary

A leading healthcare organization in Singapore seeks an experienced Acupuncturist to provide acupuncture services to inpatients and outpatients. The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, supervising support staff, and training healthcare professionals. Candidates must be registered with the relevant board and possess a degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine or equivalent, along with at least 3 years of clinical experience. Job description

The Acupuncturist is responsible for the provision of Acupuncture services to inpatients and outpatients, by working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to achieve positive patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

The Acupuncturist provides acupuncture treatment to patients referred from a qualified medical staff. He / She will:

  • Provide professional / clinical duties
  • Train other health care professionals
  • Collate statistics to monitor performance of staff and section
  • Supervise support staff under direct report
  • Assist to conduct regular quality assurance audit
  • Assist in departmental, inter-departmental, hospital or public events
  • Conduct talks for external parties
Job Requirements:
  • The candidate must be a trained Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner and / or an Acupuncturist.
  • Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine or Graduate Diploma in Acupuncture
  • Registered with Singapore Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner’s Board
  • At least 3 years of clinical working experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills preferred
