Job Description
  • Industry/ Organization Type: Building & Construction Equipment
  • Position Title: Accounts Officer/ Accounts Assistant
  • Working Location: Aljunied
  • Working Hours: 5.25 days (Monday-Friday, 9.00am - 6.00pm; Saturday, 8.30am – 12.30pm)
  • Salary Package: Basic Salary + PB
  • Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
  • Process outgoing payments, including cheque issuance, telegraphic transfers, and GIRO.
  • Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) operations.
  • Post monthly journal entries for AR/AP-related transactions.
  • Maintain a partial set of accounts, handle data entry and invoice processing.
  • Administer and record petty cash transactions.
  • Prepare and reconcile Statements of Accounts.
  • Support month-end close, GST filings, and annual audit activities.
  • Organize and maintain an orderly filing system and documentation.
  • Ensure accurate records and adherence to accounting procedures.
  • Able to commence immediately or with short notice.
  • Undertake other ad‑hoc tasks as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
  • GCE O‑Level or a Certificate in Accounting/Finance (or equivalent).
  • Relevant industry experience is preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and professional email communication.
  • 1 year of relevant accounting experience.
  • MYOB experience is highly valued.
  • Able to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
