Job description
Overview
  • Industry: Marine / Diving
  • Working hours: Monday - Friday (09:00 - 18:00)
  • Office location: Jurong West / Pioneer Area

Responsibilities
  • Finance: Handling all AP, AR; liaising with customers and suppliers on invoicing and payment discrepancies; prepare and generate SOA to customers and request for payment; prepare quarterly GST filing and maintaining proper filing of accounting statements and records; assist in reconciling bank statements and resolving discrepancies to ensure accurate financial reporting; support in month-end closing activities, including preparation of financial reports
  • Human Resource: Process weekly / monthly payroll, overtime, claims, allowances; handle submission and processing of statutory payments and claims (CPF, IR21, IR8A, NS claims, Government-Paid leave, training grant submissions); ensure accurate data entry into system (Info-Tech); prepare employment contracts, work pass applications, and work pass renewals; effectively maintain employee records and HR documents; provide recruitment support including job postings, follow-up with shortlisted candidates for scheduling interviews, HR documents for hiring; develop and implement HR policies and procedures in accordance with legal requirements and best practices
  • Office & Admin Support: Work closely with management to execute daily office operations; manage office supplies inventory and place orders; maintain office equipment and coordinate repairs/replacements; provide general administrative assistance including document sorting, office admin tasks and filing; manage travel arrangements for management and staff; coordinate with clients, suppliers, and external vendors to schedule services and deliveries (e.g., building management)
Requirements
  • Min. 2 years relevant work experience
  • Min. diploma in Finance / Accountancy, Business Administration or related field
  • Experience in Xero accounting software is a must
  • Experience in InfoTech HR software preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft, Google Workspace and WhatsApp Web
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize daily workload
  • Preferable to start immediately
  • Singaporean and permanent residents preferred
