A dynamic production company in Singapore is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage full-cycle accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will oversee preparation of financial statements, ensure compliance with finance filing requirements, and monitor project costs. A Diploma or Degree in Accountancy is required, along with 1-2 years of relevant experience. Strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in accounting software are essential.
Key responsibilities:
1. Full-Cycle Accounting:
- managing the full set of accounts
- processing vendor invoices, arranging payments
- processing customer billing, managing collections
- preparing various journal entries
- performing various reconciliations (e.g., bank, inter-company balances and etc)
- maintaining Profit and Loss schedules
- maintaining Balance Sheet schedules (e.g., prepayments, accruals and etc)
- ensuring the general ledger is up-to-date and accurate
- preparation of monthly financial reports
- support audits (both internal and external)
2. Financial Statement:
- preparation of the annual financial statements for the company you handle
- assist in the preparation of group annual financial statements
3. Compliance:
- adherence to all finance filing requirements and handle annual return and tax filings (e.g., GST, corporate tax and etc)
4. Cost Monitoring and Control
- monitoring cost of each project
- ensuring that project budgets are not exceeded
5. Others
- provide support in office administration and undertake ad-hoc projects as needed
- take any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Company
Experience & Requirements
a) Diploma or Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
b) Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in managing full set of accounts.
c) Team player, analytical, meticulous, problem solver & prioritisation abilities.
d) Good interpersonal and communication skills.
e) High level of integrity and able to meet tight deadline.
f) Bilingual in English & Chinese.
g) Computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
h) Experience and familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero will be a plus.
