A leading recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking a Finance Executive to manage financial records and ensure compliance with local regulations. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in Accountancy, at least 2-3 years of relevant experience preferably in the construction industry, and familiarity with SFRS and GST. The role involves handling Accounts Receivable and Payable, preparing remittance documents, and assisting with regulatory filings. A salary range of $3,500 to $4,000 plus variable bonus is offered.
Work location: HQ at Changi Business Park [ Expo MRT ]
Working Days: Mon to Fri, from 8.30am to 5.15pm

The Accounts Officer is responsible for supporting the finance department in managing the company’s financial records, ensuring compliance with Singapore accounting standards, and administering day-to-day accounting operations.
Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
At least 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the construction or building industry.
Experience with SunSystems would be advantageous. Training will be provided.
Familiar with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), GST regulations, and local statutory requirements.
Process general expenses and other HQ costs.
Take charge of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable for the HQ.
Prepare documents for bank remittances to local and overseas recipients.
Process petty cash, GIRO or bank payments.
Prepare purchase requisitions for rentals, petrol, and utilities.
Assist with GST submission, CPF, and other regulatory/statutory filings
Liaise with Group companies regarding related-party transactions.
Ensure proper documentation and filing of all accounting records in compliance with company policies and audit requirements.
Assist in preparing accounts schedules for audit/review by auditors.
Account for PPE and ROU assets (leases).
Monthly / Quarterly closing of accounts, bank reconciliation and management reporting.
Other ad hoc accounting duties.
