Job summary

A reputable recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking an Accounts Assistant to handle simple duties. In this role, you will manage invoicing, accounts receivable, payment processing, and assist with bank reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have O Levels or equivalent and be proficient in Microsoft Office. Mandarin language proficiency is required to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking customers. The position offers a salary of up to $2,500, bonuses, and benefits including annual leave and medical coverage.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and issue invoices promptly and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Manage daily accounts receivable, payment processing, and cash flow tracking.
  • Monitor accounts receivable ageing and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Record accounts receivable transactions, receipts, and journal entries accurately.
  • Issue monthly customer statements.
  • Assist with bank reconciliations and month-end closing.
  • Perform ad-hoc administrative and accounting duties.
  • Support extended hours during peak periods when required.

Working hours: 5 Days Work Week - Monday to Friday, 9.00AM to 6.00PM

Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $2,500 + Performance Bonus + 14 Days Annual Leave + Medical Benefits ($300/Month)

  • Perform ad-hoc administrative and accounting duties
  • Support extended hours during peak periods when required
Requirements
  • Minimum O Levels or Equivalent
  • Preferably with experience in Accounts or Administrative role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
