Job description
Responsibilities
  • Issue invoices accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Monitor Accounts Receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts via email and phone calls with sales team and customers.

  • Handle collection and arranging of hire purchase with finance institution for customers.

  • Reconcile billing discrepancies and promptly address customer billing inquiries to ensure timely resolution of issues.

  • Assist in month-end closing and ensure accurate posting of AR data in Sage Accpac.

  • Update and maintain customer database as required.

  • Work closely with the customer support team to ensure smooth billing processes.

  • Carry out any ad-hoc duties or finance-related matters assigned.

Requirements
  • Minimum GCE 'O' Level or equivalent qualification, with or without an LCCI Accounting Certificate.

  • At least 2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or a related field.

  • Proficient in Sage Accpac Accounting Software.

  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin, with strong written English skills for correspondence with customers and lawyers.

  • Strong communication skills, especially in handling overdue/disputed payments.

  • Good interpersonal skills and a strong sense of responsibility.

  • Meticulous, organized, and able to multitask effectively.

  • Proactive, resourceful, and able to work both independently and in a team.

  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
