Job description

The role is a full-time permanent position based in Singapore, as an Accounts Executive reporting directly to the General Manager (South East Asia and Taiwan). You will work closely with the UK Finance Team and will be fully responsible for assisting in all financial matters concerning Singapore and regional operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer liaison to ensure prompt receipt of payments
  • Assisting with preparation of the monthly, quarterly and Year end process
  • Maintenance of the prepayment schedule, fixed asset register and bank reconciliations
  • Day-to-day liaison with key service providers, regarding invoicing, payments and other key documentation
  • Coding and checking of purchase invoices; and the preparation of payments to suppliers
  • Actively supporting month end procedures and providing information to the accounts team
  • Reconciliation of supplier and customer invoices
  • Assisting with and co-ordinating documents and information for internal and external audits
  • A range of operations work as required to assist the General Manager (South East Asia and Taiwan)
Requirements:
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in accounting team. Diploma in accounting or finance preferred.
  • Strong administrative skills with an ability to pick up tasks swiftly from instructions and work accurately
  • Ability to communication with stakeholders and has a friendly and approachable manner
  • Team player who can work collaboratively within a team to maximise team and individual performance
  • Able to demonstrate clear, effective oral and written communications
  • MS-Excel to intermediate level as required minimum standard, with general proficiency for IT based reporting skills.
