Job summary

A recruitment agency in Singapore seeks an experienced accountant to manage the full set of accounts, ensure compliance with statutory filings, and provide financial analysis and support. Applicants should have knowledge of accounting processes, be proactive in handling financial reporting, and have experience with accounting systems such as SAP. • Handle the full set of accounts including AP, AR, GL.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and reports.
• Ensure timely submission of statutory filings.
• Review and process employee expense claims.
• Maintain and enhance internal accounting processes.

Job description

• Handle the full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), bank reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closings.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and other key financial reports.
• Ensure timely submission of statutory filings such as GST returns, corporate tax submissions, and annual returns in XBRL format.
• Review and process employee expense claims accurately and promptly.
• Maintain and enhance internal accounting processes, controls, and compliance standards.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and financial institutions as required.
• Provide financial insights and support management in budgeting and financial analysis.
• Assist in the implementation and optimization of accounting systems, including SAP.
• Participate in ad-hoc finance initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams as necessary.
