Job summary

A local coffee company in Singapore is seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to oversee their accounting department. This role involves ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing accounts payable and receivable, and maintaining internal controls. The ideal candidate holds a degree in accounting or ACCA Level 3, has at least 2 years of relevant experience, and possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills. Job Description
  • Manage Accounts Department and ensure proper accounting and financial procedures are carried out
  • Maintain full set of accounts as well as verify and approve AP, AR, GL journals
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounts
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and schedules for management
  • Filing of GST
  • Provide support to operation team
  • Ensure all cash and banking transactions are accurate, complete and authorised
  • Ensure inventory systems are well maintained
  • Ensure all internal controls are adhered to and intact
  • Propose new controls and process to improve efficiency
  • Reconcile bank statements in timely manner
  • Follow up on outstanding debts and ensure credit limits are properly set up
  • Prepare cashflow forecast
  • Work with external tax agent, corporate secretary, bankers and insurance companies
Job Requirement
  • Degree in Accounting, ACCA Level 3 or Diploma with strong relevant experience
  • At least 2 years experience preferably in similar industry
  • Experience with Xero, Times Software will be a plus
  • Prior experience in overseeing Human Resource function will be an added advantage
  • Self motivated individual who is independent and hands-on with a keen eye for detail
  • Able to manage a team with good communication and interpersonal skills
