Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial transactions, reporting, and compliance for our marine engineering operations. The ideal candidate will have solid accounting experience, preferably within the marine or engineering industry, and a strong understanding of financial regulations and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable/receivable, invoices, and payroll
  • Prepare timely financial statements and management reports
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements
  • Manage tax calculations, GST/VAT returns, and other regulatory filings
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives
  • Monitor and manage inventory accounting for marine spare parts
  • Liaise with vendors, clients, and internal teams to support smooth financial operations
Qualifications & Skills
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience (experience in marine/engineering industry will be an advantage)
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore financial regulations and tax laws
  • Proficient in accounting software and MS Office applications (Excel, Word)
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail
