Maker Lab’s cross-functional teams of multidisciplinary specialists are embedded into client teams across digital marketing competencies — from measurement & analytics to content production.

Role Summary:

Account Manager for a major tourism brand. You’ll be the operational lead, managing timelines, budgets, and manpower. Requires 5+ years’ experience in agency operations and project management to ensure creative work is delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest strategic standard.

Role:
  • Client Partnership: Serve as the primary day-to-day contact and strategic partner for client stakeholders, fostering open and transparent communication while managing expectations effectively.
  • Project Management: Develop, own, and manage all project timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables across the team, ensuring efficient workflow and on-time completion.
  • Operational Excellence: Implement and manage the team's operational framework, including structured Work-in-Progress (WIP) meetings, performance tracking, and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
  • Financial Oversight: Oversee detailed budget tracking, manage all monthly billings, and handle financial reporting to ensure the project remains on budget and compliant with financial regulations.
  • Strategic Alignment: Collaborate closely with the Creative Lead to ensure all executed work maintains strategic alignment and upholds the highest standards of creative excellence.
  • Manpower Leadership: Lead all manpower management duties, including team onboarding, managing leave schedules, and handling grievance procedures to ensure a stable and productive team environment.
  • Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and address potential roadblocks or resource conflicts, serving as the central point of accountability for problem-solving.
You:
  • Minimum 6+ years of professional experience in account management, project management, or operations management, ideally within a creative agency, media, or technology environment.
  • Proven track record in developing, managing, and delivering complex, multi-stream projects with rigorous attention to detail.
  • Strong financial acumen, with direct experience in budget tracking, billing, and financial reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and manage expectations at various stakeholder levels.
  • Experience in leading and managing manpower requirements (e.g., resource allocation, onboarding, performance review processes).
  • A highly organised, strategic thinker and a self-starter with the proven ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity in a fast-paced, matrix environment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills, with proven experience presenting project status and performance metrics.

Contract type: 2 years fixed term contract
