Purpose and Scope

The incumbent will be part of the team responsible for managing, optimising and managing the LNG and piped natural gas supply and demand portfolio, including market risk management. The incumbent will be required to be proficient with gas and LNG contracts in the portfolio and assist in the development of plans, management of supplies & sales, and execution of relevant transactions.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
  • Assist in account management for existing piped natural gas and LNG suppliers/customers.
  • Support efforts to secure competitive short-term gas supply, spot LNG supply, and/or spot gas/LNG sales.
  • Contribute to risk management activities for LNG and piped natural gas portfolios.
  • Assist in managing the existing supply portfolio and support optimization initiatives.
  • Help execute commercial transactions to achieve target financial performance.
  • Collaborate with Gas Market Operations and Power Market Operations to implement plans and operationalize transactions.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to enable smooth execution of transactions.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Degree in Business or Engineering related discipline or higher.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a dynamic energy market environment.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
  • Familiarity with energy markets or interest in LNG/natural gas industry is an advantage.
Preferred Attributes
  • Knowledge of Singapore electricity and natural gas market, including Gas Network Code, is a plus.
  • Understanding of international LNG market trends is beneficial.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple tasks effectively.
