Job summary

A leading financial services company in Singapore is seeking an Account Executive to manage daily accounting operations and support financial reporting. Responsibilities include managing accounts, preparation of financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Ideal candidates will have a diploma or degree in Accounting or Finance, alongside 1–3 years of relevant experience, and strong skills in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of relevant working experience (fresh graduates with internship experience may also be considered).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full set of accounts (AR, AP, GL, and month-end closing).
  • Prepare and monitor bank reconciliations and cash flow forecasts.
  • Handle the full spectrum of fixed asset functions.
  • Prepare balance sheet schedules, including fixed assets, prepayments, and accruals.
  • Perform quarterly GST e-submissions and assist in tax reporting.
  • Support the preparation of monthly financial and management reports.
  • Assist with year-end statutory audit.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
  • Participate in process improvements and system enhancements.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

TheAccount Executive will support the day-to-day accounting and finance operations, including the management of a full set of accounts (AR, AP, GL, and month-end closing). This role works closely with the Head of Finance to ensure accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and smooth operational processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage full set of accounts (AR, AP, GL, and month-end closing).
  • Prepare and monitor bank reconciliations and cash flow forecasts.
  • Handle the full spectrum of fixed asset functions.
  • Prepare balance sheet schedules, including fixed assets, prepayments, accruals, and inter-company reconciliations.
  • Perform quarterly GST e-submissions and assist in ECI & Form C submissions.
  • Support the preparation of monthly financial and management reports.
  • Assist with year-end statutory audit and tax reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and internal controls.
  • Participate in process improvements and system enhancements.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
