Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore is looking for an Account Officer to manage daily bank balances, prepare cash flow projections, and handle invoices. The ideal candidate must have a Diploma/Degree in Accountancy, proficiency in accounting software, and be bilingual in English & Mandarin. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills with experience in full set accounts.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision under tight schedules.
• Experience in the construction industry and full set accounts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and update daily bank balances to ensure accurate financial records.
• Primary point of contact for all bank-related matters.
• Prepare and maintain cash flow projections.

Requirement

• Monitor and update daily bank balances to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records
• Primary point of contact for all bank-related matters, including account inquiries, transactions, and reconciliations
• Prepare and maintain cash flow projections to assist in financial planning and decision-making.
• Review, verify, and post invoices into the accounting system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Initiate and process payments to vendors and suppliers using online banking platforms, while adhering to payment schedules and financial controls.
• Any other duties as assigned by supervisor
• Bilingual in English & Mandarin to handle queries, requests and concerns from Chinese speaking associates.

Job Scope
