A reputable accounting firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced accountant to manage full sets of accounts, including AP, AR, and GL. Responsibilities

  • Handle full set of accounts including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliation.
  • Prepare and issue customer invoices; follow up on collections.
  • Manage A/P process payments, reconciliation and SOA.
  • Preparation of bank reconciliation reports and reconciliation of monthly intercompany balances.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Job description

Handle full set of accounts (AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliation).

Prepare and issue customer invoices; follow up on collections to ensure timely payment.

Manage A/P process payments, reconciliation and SOA.

Preparation of bank reconciliation reports & reconciliation of monthly intercompany balances.

Maintain monthly and yearly schedules for management & audit.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Collaborate with internal teams to support financial reporting requirements.

Liaise with China HQ for accounts-related matters.

Assist in external audits and liaise with auditors as necessary.

Perform other ad hoc tasks as required.

Requirements:

Minimum Diploma in Accounting or equivalent.

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in accounting roles.

Proficient in MS Office and MS Excel.

Proficiency in QuickBooks will be an added advantage.

Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Willing to learn, meticulous, proactive, and possess a positive work attitude.

Proficient and fluent in both English and Mandarin (In order to liaise with Chinese speaking stakeholders)

Salary will be commensurate with experience, with performance bonus.
