Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Account Executive with hands-on experience in Xero Accounting Software to manage our daily financial operations. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate bookkeeping, timely reconciliations, and smooth coordination between departments, supporting the company’s financial health and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Maintain accurate financial records in Xero for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Prepare and issue invoices to customers.
  • Record and verify supplier invoices and staff claims.
  • Reconcile bank statements, supplier statements, and payment records.

2. Payment & Collection

  • Monitor payment status and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Process supplier payments and staff reimbursements on time.

3. Reporting & Compliance

  • Generate monthly financial reports from Xero for management review.
  • Assist in preparing GST submissions and other statutory filings.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and Singapore accounting standards.

4. Coordination & Support

  • Liaise with internal teams on invoice clarifications, payment schedules, and order records.
  • Support the finance manager/director in budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing for all finance-related records.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing.
  • Proficient in Xero Accounting Software.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and GST reporting in Singapore.
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG industry.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
