Job summary

A leading HR advisory company in Singapore is seeking a drawing coordinator to manage shop drawings and communication with subcontractors. The role requires a recognized degree, at least 10 years of experience in the Singapore Construction Industry, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit/BIM software. Candidates should have a good understanding of local construction codes. This position offers a salary of $6,000 - $8,000 plus variable bonuses, and regular working hours from Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Min 10 years of experience in drawing coordination and management in the Singapore Construction Industry.
• Experience in leading a team of coordinators and drafters in Shop drawing production.
• Good understanding of the Singapore Construction codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Involve in checking and coordination of Shop drawings and as-built drawings.
• Manage submission and approvals of Shop drawings and Samples from Consultants.
• Attend and chair design technical meetings with Consultants and Subcontractors.

Job description

• HQ at Changi Business Park [ Expo MRT ]
• Mon to Fri, from 8.30am to 5.15pm
• Salary is $6,000 - $8,000 + Variable Bonus [ No AWS ]

JOB SCOPE / RESPONSIBILITIES

• Involve and lead in checking and coordination of Shop drawings and as-built drawings with all respective trades (e.g., Architectural, Structural, MEP and Specialist Subcontractors works)
• Review project specifications, Shop drawings and technical clarifications
• Able to prepare and monitor the progress of Shop drawings and Sample schedule with procurement schedule.
• Manage submission and approvals of Shop drawings and Samples from Consultants.
• Manage receipt and issuance of all Consultant drawings and Shop drawings
• Liaise and coordinate with Consultants, Authorities and Subcontractors on design issues.
• Assist the Project team on technical and coordination issues with Subcontractors.
• Attend and chair design technical meetings with Consultants and Subcontractors
• Assist the Project contracts department in variation order claims related to design changes.

REQUIREMENTS

• Recognized Degree in Architecture/ Engineering/ Construction or equivalent
• Min 10 years of experience in drawing coordination and management in the Singapore Construction Industry
• Well versed in Autocad, Revit / BIM software in Architectural/ Structural/ MEP. Candidates with experience in BIM projects are at an added advantage.
• Good understanding of the Singapore Construction (eg. Building code, BCA, URA and LTA)
• Experience in leading a team of coordinators and drafters in Shop drawing production, coordination, and document control.
