A leading service provider in M&E is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Singapore. This role involves evaluating tenders, preparing submissions, and managing project budgets. Candidates will calculate construction costs, assist with contractual claims, invite sub-contractors for quotations, and resolve outstanding claim issues. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and attention to detail. The position offers a salary range of $2800 to $4000, working Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday work.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate tenders and prepare tender submissions.
• Establish a database for costs, materials, and suppliers.
• Calculate construction costs based on drawings and documents.
• Assist in assessing contractual claims and work progress.
• Invite sub-contractors to submit quotations and evaluate them.
• Prepare project budgets, reports, and cost estimations.
• Monitor budgets and track direct costs on projects.
• Resolve outstanding claim issues on Final Accounts and Variation Orders.

Role: Quantity Surveyor (M&E)

(A leading Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) services provider specializing in Project Management, Cleanroom construction, Data Centres.)

• Address: Office - Ang Mo Kio, Working site at island wide
• Working days: Mon to Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm // If have urgent things, sat 8.30am to 12.30pm
• Salary: $2800 to $4000

Job scope

• Evaluation of tender, preparation of tender submission and Bill of Quantity
• Establish database for costs, materials and supply sources.
• To calculate the cost of construction for a project (Pre-contract) based om the drawings and documents.
• To assist in the assessment of all contractual claims, work progress, etc.
• To invite sub-contractors of various trades to submit quotations for the projects and evaluate the quotation accordingly to the necessary award of the Sub-Con.
• Preparation of project budgets, reports and cost estimation.
• Monitor budget and keep track of direct costs on projects.
• To resolve any outstanding claim issues on Final Accounts and Variation Orders promptly
