Requires a bachelor's degree in area ofspecialty and 8-10 years of experience in the field or in a related area.Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures. Relyon extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Perform avariety of tasks. Lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree ofcreativity and latitude is expected. - Analyze process workflow, employee andspace requirements and equipment layout; implement changes
- Maintain safe and healthy work environmentby establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures; complyingwith legal regulations

- Manage staff levels, wages, hours,contract labor to revenues
- Responsible for all department managersand supervisors, with review/approval responsibility for all operationsemployees

- Responsible for all aspects of vehicle andheavy equipment rentals
- Establish contracts and pricing andensuring proper maintenance and serving as primary liaison with utilities andlocal government agencies, such as fire, police, health and safety agencies
- Manage relationships with key operationsvendors
- Track vendor pricing, rebates and servicelevels
- Review and approve all operationalinvoices and ensure they are submitted for payment
- Serve as primary point of contact whenthere are customer issues related to equipment quality, customer service, oraccidents and mishaps on-site. In particular, this includes any issues on-siteat client facilities, such as breaking a fence or tape residue on flooring
- Communicate customer issues withoperations team and devise ways of improving the customer experience, includingresolving problems and complaints
- Work closely with GM and management teamto set and/or implement policies, procedures and systems and to follow throughwith implementation.
- Communicate all operating policies and/orissues at department meetings
- Work closely with the inventory managerand team to perform analysis of our inventory and ensure we are utilizing ourinventory effectively, purchasing the right equipment, maintaining solidinventory data and reduce sub-rental expenses
- Communicate with legal counsel and safetydepartment to ensure all processes remain compliant with OSHA and othergovernmental regulations
