Detailed Job Description

As a Technical Authority, you will serve as the second-line escalation point for Cloud Infrastructure and IP-related services, supporting mission-critical telecommunications platforms and operational environments. You will work closely with operations teams, vendors, engineering groups, and service management functions to troubleshoot complex technical issues, support platform lifecycle management, and maintain overall service stability. The position requires strong expertise in cloud technologies, IP networking, incident management, configuration management, and operational governance. You will also play a key role in software upgrades, compliance activities, hardware management, audit support, and technical change implementation. Key Responsibilities

• Provide second-line Technical Authority support across Cloud Infrastructure and IP networking domains.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure, cloud platform, and IP network incidents.
• Support incident, problem, and fault management processes to ensure service continuity.
• Perform technical assessments and operational reviews to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Support configuration management activities and troubleshoot configuration-related issues.
• Manage technical escalations and provide expert guidance to operations and engineering teams.
• Support platform access management, user administration, and operational governance controls.
• Participate in software lifecycle management, upgrades, patches, and platform enhancements.
• Coordinate with vendors and third-party hardware providers to resolve infrastructure-related issues.
• Support Customer Service Request (CSR) activities and technical service fulfilment processes.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience supporting Cloud Infrastructure and IP networking environments within telecommunications or enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting experience across cloud, infrastructure, and network technologies.
• Experience supporting incident, problem, and fault management processes.
• Strong understanding of configuration management principles and operational best practices.
• Experience managing technical escalations and supporting operational change activities.
• Knowledge of platform access control, user management, and operational security requirements.
• Telecom cloud infrastructure experience within carrier-grade environments.
• Experience managing and supporting third-party hardware platforms and infrastructure vendors.

• Knowledge of software lifecycle management, upgrades, patching, and release processes.
• Experience supporting audit, governance, and compliance requirements.
• Strong understanding of IP networking concepts, protocols, and operational environments.
