Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Saudi Arabia seeks a Senior Startup Investor Manager to identify and engage top early-stage startups and venture capital firms, shaping AWS's cloud strategy in the Kingdom. You will work with investors to accelerate portfolio companies on AWS, combining cloud expertise with market insight to unlock growth.

Qualifications

• Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
• Experience in Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting.
• Experience working with Core Cloud Technology Services (Compute, Edge, Hybrid, Security, and/or Networking).
• Experience working with Data & AI related technologies (AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage).
• 6+ years of professional or military experience.
• Deep Knowledge of Venture Capital in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and connections with investors.

Responsibilities

• Build strong Partner-level relationships with Venture Capital firms in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Create and execute investor-focused programs that accelerate portfolio company success.
• Implement solutions that address specific startup and investor needs.
• Collaborate on cross-functional initiatives involving AWS Startups, Sales, Marketing, and Product teams.
• Monitor program effectiveness and provide feedback based on results.
• Collect early-stage market signals from investors and founders to support AWS innovation.
• Evaluate technical and business potential of startups through understanding of their architecture, technology stack, and market opportunity.
• Serve as advisor to portfolio companies, helping them optimize their cloud architecture and go-to-market approach.
