Job summary

Amazon in Saudi Arabia (AWS Global Sales) seeks a Senior Solutions Architect to work with Enterprise and Strategic customers in western Saudi Arabia, based in Jeddah. You will be the primary technical advisor helping modernise legacy platforms, adopt cloud-native architectures, and accelerate digital agendas.

You’ll collaborate with Account Managers, ProServe, Specialist SAs and Service Teams to design reliable, cost-effective solutions and to drive AWS adoption.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.
• Knowledge of cloud architecture.

Responsibilities

• In partnership with Account Managers and Business Development, drive long-term customer success, satisfaction, and trust through the adoption of AWS services and well-architected solutions.
• Serve as the primary technical advisor for enterprise customers in the Jeddah and western Saudi Arabia region, building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and influencing their long-term technology strategy.
• Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS and lead deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud, including competitive migration paths from other cloud providers to AWS.
• Conduct one-to-few and one-to-many enablement sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or already using AWS (e.g., Dev Days, Immersion Days, Workshops, and GameDays).
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS Solutions Architect community; contribute to customer-facing publications such as white papers, blog posts, and reference architectures.
• Act as a technical liaison between customers, AWS Service Teams, and Support — gathering product feedback, driving feature requests, and mentoring fellow Solutions Architects in the region.
