Job summary

Majid Al Futtaim is seeking a Store Manager for Carrefour Riyadh to oversee supermarket operations, drive sales, and manage stock and customer satisfaction. The role emphasizes profitability, cost control, and strategic implementation in a dynamic retail environment.

The candidate will coordinate with Heads of Departments, supervise store assets, improve hygiene and safety, and ensure service excellence to support business growth in Riyadh.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
• 5+ years relevant experience as a store manager in supermarkets.
• Must be located in Riyadh with willingness to relocate if needed.
• Experience in Retail is a must.
• Strong people and negotiation skills to build relationships across levels.

Responsibilities

• Implement supermarket plans in line with strategies in collaboration with Head Office.
• Apply qualitative and quantitative analysis to measure performance and recommend actions.

JOB TITLE

Store Manager | MAF Retail | Carrefour Riyadh

ROLE SUMMARY

The Store Manager - Supermarket is responsible for ensuring a seamless delivery of service within the assigned supermarket, as well as driving the supermarket's operations to ensure maximum sales, maximum profitability, optimum stock management, increase in customer satisfaction and continued business growth. The role holder is also responsible for overseeing and implementing action plans for improvement.

ROLE PROFILE

• Ensure implementation of MAF Retail's supermarket plans in line with the supermarket strategies and procedures in collaboration with the Head Office and Corporate Office
• Apply qualitative and quantitative analysis to measure and evaluate commercial performance, and provide recommendations to increase profitability and sales turnover
• Maximize sales and profitability by controlling costs within the budgetary guidelines
• Review and analyze stock and sales reports and implement corrective action to be taken if necessary
• Initiate and ensure application of comparative studies between departments that can contribute to the efficiency of the commercial performance
• Coordinate regularly with Department Heads to ensure effective stock management (stock value, out of stock, orders and timely merchandise deliveries)
• Supervise the ongoing service and maintenance of the supermarket's assets
• Oversee the enhancement of hygiene standards and the supermarkets safety and security

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in business administration
• 5+ years relevant experience as a store manager in supermarkets industry.
• must be located in Riyadh. candidates from outside the area must be willing to relocate to Riyadh.
• Experience in Retail is a must.
• Strong people and negotiation skills - capable to easily build relationships across all levels.
