Job summary
NextEra is seeking an experienced Senior Voice Technologies Administrator to manage and optimize enterprise voice and collaboration platforms across the organization. You will work with Cisco CUCM, CMS, and Avaya solutions to ensure high availability, performance, and security of voice services.
The role involves administering CUCM clusters, configuring CMS for video meetings, supporting Avaya integrations, and coordinating with network and security teams to maintain reliable voice
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or telecommunications.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco/Avaya voice solutions.
- Experience with Cisco CUCM, CMS, SIP trunks, and Avaya platforms.
- Strong knowledge of VoIP, IP Telephony, QoS, and networking fundamentals.
Responsibilities
- Administer CUCM clusters, voice gateways, SIP trunks, and IP phones.
- Configure and troubleshoot CMS environments for video conferencing.
- Support Avaya voice and meeting solutions and integration with Cisco platforms.
- Monitor voice infrastructure health and service availability.
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for voice incidents.
- Develop documentation and participate in disaster recovery planning.
