Job summary

VaporVM is seeking an experienced Unified Communications Architect to design and implement a robust UC infrastructure supporting IVR, voice, video and collaboration tools. You will lead the technical design and end-to-end integration across Cisco, Avaya, Microsoft Teams, Zoom and WebEx platforms.

Responsibilities include optimizing call flows, ensuring QoS, redundancy, and disaster recovery, and integrating UC with CRM and contact center apps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering or related field.
• 8–10 years in Unified Communications and telephony systems.
• Expertise with Cisco, Avaya, Teams, Zoom, WebEx UC platforms.
• Lead design and implementation of IVR-enabled UC environments.
• Strong knowledge of IVR systems and UC integrations.
• Proficient in SIP, RTP, SBCs, gateways, PBX and call routing.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineer, or a related field.
• 8 to 10 years of experience in Unified Communications and telephony systems.
• Expertise in Unified Communications platforms such as Cisco, Avaya, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, WebEx.
• Lead the technical design and implementation of the UC environment with a focus on IVR-enabled solutions.
• Strong knowledge of IVR systems and integration with UC platforms.
• Proficiency in SIP, RTP, SBCs, gateways, PBX, and call routing configurations.
• Experience with voice network design, QoS, redundancy, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Understanding of integration with CRM, C2M databases, and contact center applications.
• Ability to troubleshoot UC and IVR performance issues and optimize call flows.
• Familiarity with telecom standards, VoIP protocols, and security best practices.
• Experience with monitoring, reporting, and performance management tools
• Proven experience in implementing and supporting IVR-enabled UC solutions.
• Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., Cisco CCIE Collaboration, Avaya ACIS, Microsoft Teams/Skype for Business, Genesys Certified Professional).
• Manage end-to-end integration of IVR with voice and collaboration platforms.
• Configure call flows, gateways, and session management.
• Optimize the UC infrastructure for performance, redundancy, and disaster recovery.
• Conduct interoperability testing with endpoints and IVR applications.
• Monitor system health and performance.
• Support deployment and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
