Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Saudi Arabia seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to supervise large-scale building projects. You will oversee foundations, steel and concrete works, and ensure compliance with design intent, codes, and safety standards.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, material submittals, and conducting QA/QC checks. A Civil Engineering degree with specialization in structures is required; GCC experience is highly desirable.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering.
Master's Degree in Structural Engineering preferred.
Professional Engineering registration desirable.
Membership in a recognized engineering institution preferred.
Certifications related to structural design, construction supervision, or project management advantageous.

Responsibilities

Monitor and supervise structural construction activities to ensure compliance with designs, specs, and codes.
Review shop drawings, material submissions, and contractor proposals for design intent.
Verify quality through inspection records and test reports; identify non-conformities and drive corrective actions.
Conduct site inspections to assess progress, workmanship, and adherence to methodologies.
Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, QS, and construction teams on interfaces and data.
Prepare daily to monthly progress reports and maintain project documentation.
