Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Saudi Arabia is seeking a highly experienced Resident Engineer to lead on-site supervision for a large-scale development in Riyadh. You will act as the Consultant’s senior representative, ensuring works meet approved designs, contract requirements, and quality standards while coordinating multidisciplinary teams.

You will monitor progress, manage RFIs and shop drawings, drive HSSE compliance, oversee testing and handover, mentor staff, and liaise with authorities to ensure timely

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field is required.
• Master's Degree in Engineering/PM preferred.
• Professional certification (PE/Chartered/PMP) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Consultant's primary on-site representative for supervision.
• Lead multidisciplinary engineering and inspection teams.
• Ensure works comply with drawings, specs, codes, and standards.
• Review shop drawings, method statements, and submittals; monitor progress and milestones.
• Coordinate with authorities and stakeholders; manage RFIs and field changes.
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities; mentor staff.
