Job summary

Atkins Realis Group in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to supervise on-site construction for large-scale hotels, resorts and convention centers, ensuring compliance with designs, codes and project schedules.

You will coordinate with architects, MEP, and QA teams, review shop drawings and RFIs, lead inspections, and document progress and non-conformities to support timely delivery. A strong GCC background and PE registration are highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with structural focus; master’s preferred.
• Professional engineering registration desirable.
• 8–12 years of structural engineering and construction supervision experience.
• Experience on site supervision for major building developments including hotels and convention centers.
• GCC/ Saudi Arabia experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Inspect foundations, concrete works, steel structures and building frameworks.
• Verify construction activities follow approved methodologies and quality requirements.
• Monitor workmanship to meet project specifications and industry standards.
• Review shop drawings, material submissions and contractor proposals for design intent.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, quantity surveyors and construction teams.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain documentation for audits.
• Identify and resolve structural construction issues promptly.
