Job summary

Atkins Realis Group in Riyadh is seeking an experienced Field Engineer - Structural to supervise and inspect structural construction for a major development project. You will ensure works comply with drawings, specs, codes, and schedules, coordinating with Resident Engineer, contractors and multi-disciplinary teams.

The role requires 8+ years in structural engineering and construction supervision, with strong knowledge of reinforced concrete, structural steel, and precast systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Structural/Civil Engineering; Master's preferred.
• 8+ years in structural engineering and construction supervision.
• 5+ years as Structural Field/ Site Engineer on major building projects.
• Experience with large-scale buildings and hospitality projects.
• Saudi Arabia/GCC experience preferred.
• Knowledge of ACI, AISC, BS, Eurocodes and local regulations.
• Experience reviewing shop drawings, method statements and submittals.

Responsibilities

• Supervise structural construction activities to ensure design and contract compliance.
• Conduct site inspections of foundations, concrete, steel, precast and temporary works.
• Review drawings and submissions for constructability and compliance.
• Verify construction activities follow approved methodologies and standards.
• Monitor progress against schedules and witness testing and QC activities.
• Coordinate with disciplines to resolve interface issues; manage RFIs and instructions.
• Prepare inspection and site observation reports; support handover and payments.
• Ensure QA/QC adherence and HSE compliance on site.
