Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Riyadh is seeking a seasoned Construction Engineer to supervise and coordinate large-scale building and hospitality developments. You will ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and schedules while leading multi-disciplinary teams on site.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of experience, strong QA/QC, and proficiency in HSE, with experience in Saudi Arabia or GCC preferred. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• 10+ years of overall professional experience in construction and site supervision.
• 5+ years of experience as a Construction Engineer on major building projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, contract requirements, and standards.
• Coordinate daily site activities among contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Review construction methodologies, work procedures, method statements, and technical submissions.
• Monitor progress and ensure works align with approved schedules and milestones.
• Identify construction risks and issues and recommend solutions.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documentation for compliance.
• Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality.
• Coordinate with disciplines for integrated project delivery.
• Witness inspections, testing, and commissioning processes.
• Assist with variations, site instructions, and non-conformance reports.
