Job summary

EXP Arabia is seeking a versatile, experienced Senior Structural Engineer for its Mining team in Riyadh. You will lead analysis and design of steel and concrete structures for complex mining projects, ensuring compliance with Saudi codes and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have 15+ years in mining project engineering, a Civil or Structural Engineering degree, and proficiency in STAAD.Pro and BIM/CAD tools. Saudi Council of Engineers membership is preferred.

Qualifications

15+ years of project engineering, design and construction in surface and underground mining.
Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university.
Heavy industry experience; structural inspection and assessment.
Proficiency in STAAD.Pro and knowledge of Saudi engineering codes.
Familiarity with Mine Health and Safety Regulations.
Active member of the Saudi Council of Engineers.
Experience with material take-offs for cost estimates.

Responsibilities

Perform analysis and design of steel structures and concrete foundations per codes for mining and heavy industry.
Prepare sketches and collaborate with designers for detailed drawings.
Prepare engineering calculations, technical specs, reports, and scope documents.
Undertake detailed working drawings of steel, concrete, wood and masonry.
Implement safety and integrity principles in structural documentation.
