Job summary

EXP Arabia invites a Senior Mechanical Engineer, Mining to join its multidisciplinary team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. You will collaborate with engineers to plan, design, and deliver complex mining projects, leveraging Bentley OpenPlant tools and industry standards.

Ideal candidates bring deep piping and bulk material handling knowledge, along with design experience in heavy industrial EPCM environments and a strong professional engineering background.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in heavy industrial design and layout (EPCM environment preferred).
• Experience with design registration of power piping systems with the safety authority.
• Experience with ASME B31.3 and B31.1 piping codes, NFPA, CSA Z662/Z276 and related standards.
• Knowledge of mining and bulk material handling processes and piping design.

Responsibilities

• Checking of 3D models and drawings developed by others.
• Troubleshoot, analyze, identify, evaluate, and propose engineering solutions.
• Provide support to Bentley software (OpenPlant Modeler, OpenPlant P&ID).
• Provide regular feedback to the Overall Mechanical Engineering Lead on progress with deliverables.
