Job summary

EXP Arabia is seeking a versatile, experienced Senior Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer, Mining to join our Riyadh team. You will lead design concepts, coordinate with Designers, and deliver electrical designs for complex mining projects.

Requires 10+ years in mining or industrial fields, a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, and experience with PLC, Power, Automation and instrumentation. Active Saudi Council of Engineers member; CAD and BIM proficiency; strong report writing and cost

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in the mining or industrial fields.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an Accredited University.
PLC, Power, Automation and instrumentation mining experience required.
Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals and advanced concepts to execute all required aspects of discipline engineering.
Active member of the Saudi Council of Engineers.
Sound understanding of design, Saudi engineering codes and technical standards.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.), CAD, and BIM tools.
Experience in writing technical reports, specifications and in preparing the material take-offs for Cost Estimates.

Responsibilities

Oversees development of design concepts by Designers, and ensure proper application and execution.
Executes complex electrical designs with conflicting design requirements or difficult coordination.
Perform Front-end loading of Electrical systems for projects.
Edits and develops the basis of Design narratives documenting the project scope.
Develops electrical one-lines, load lists, area classifications, etc.
Participates in HAZOP, PHA, safety reviews.
